Today we live in a world where evil and corruption has taken deep roots in the minds of some humans. Corruption, injustice, lawlessness, hatred. You name it, we have it.
We have allowed ourselves to be led into an abyss of hopelessness. And in there, we are trying to survive. Breathe, and survive. And we say we are evolving? How is this evolution? Isn’t this just the opposite? We are revolving around sole fantasies of our existence. One of them is that we happened ‘by chance’. If our existence itself is based on such a vague concept of permutations and combinations, then why aren’t we just robots? We feel, react, laugh, and fight. We also love and care. Is that by chance too? Or then is it that we love because somebody loved us first?
We live in a psychology-defined world. It says our thoughts have a beginning. So then how could or would our thoughts be by chance? Unless they were put in there by someone who already knew it.
We want to hope against all hopes that the super powers of this world would stop fighting, and our world would be beautiful again. But deep down all of us know, though many dare not accept that we need someone who isn’t of this world to come and save us. Our world needs peace. It needs hope and justice. Superheroes are great on screen. But off screen, who dares to be our savior?
If we take a look at history, there was once a Man who did exactly that. He saved us. By dying and then rising again from death. Till date, history has the record of just one person who did that. And His name is Jesus. Yes, I can see you rolling your eyes. Roll them all you want. But if we can believe that we are a chance event. Shouldn’t it be easier to believe in the Lord Jesus, who has been recorded in history? His life was a living testimony of love, hope, peace, wisdom, sacrifice, and a lot of great things. Though many religious people opposed His teachings, He did what no one had done till then and hasn’t accomplished since. He sacrificed himself for us, with a promise to rise from the dead, which He did fulfill. There is enough proof to say that He is, was and will be the Savior that we are searching for. And He found us first!
Jesus found us first—through love, sacrifice, and victory over death.
